Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the staff were warm and welcoming, and my room was spacious and very clean, there were some drawbacks. The breakfast choices felt overly restricted, and the overall feel of the hotel was a bit dated. The location, being a bit far from the main city attractions, made it a bit inconvenient for walking around, but the ample parking was a plus.
I had a comfortable stay at Eliza’s Manor, which felt unique compared to other places I've stayed on my travels. The location was convenient, with easy access to central Christchurch; however, the breakfast policy was a bit restrictive for my taste. While the room was comfortable and well-equipped, I did experience some noise from the main road.
I had a lovely stay in this beautiful old house, featuring a stunning kauri wood staircase and spacious rooms. My bed was incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast muesli was a highlight. The staff were exceptionally helpful, and it’s just a short stroll into the city center. On the downside, the breakfast choice could have been broader, and there were some minor issues with room maintenance.
Eliza's offers a charming atmosphere with a beautiful building and great hospitality from the manager and staff. The rooms are warm and comfortable, but the overall experience felt a bit overpriced for what was offered. I appreciated the potential of the place, yet there were some disappointing aspects like the lack of inviting common areas and amenities that could enhance the stay.
